The room is nice and comfy, it comes with a closet, a desk plus the option of getting a single bed from WOKO. It is in fact in a WOKO apartment so if you’d like to apply take a look at its requirements (generally under 28 years old and enrolled either at ETH/UZH/ZhdK). The apartment is shared with 6 roommates who might spontaneously have dinner together, play cards and chat. ETH/ UZH centrum can be reached within 30 mins with the tram, while Irchel campus can be reached in just about 25 min. Additionally there's a bus which will take you to ETH honggerberg campus in just about 22 minutes. The nearest grocery store is at 3 minutes by foot, the closest Döner shop is about 7 min, and Oerlikon train station can be reached by tram in just about 2 minutes. The building lays in front of a railway but luckily the sound insulation system works really well so they’re not annoying during the night. Your future roommates will be: Till, Ethan, Giulia and Karlo!! Till is a very athletic guy with which i've enjoyied lots of chitchatting in the evenings and afternoons, covering a wide variety of topics so i guarantee you'll find stuff to chat about and keep you engaged. He's the master of chickpeas (really if a chick pea recipe exists he knows it), also He's doing his master in data science at ETH. Ethan: he is also a huge chickpea fan and first year masters student in the Spatial Development program at ETH. He is from California but did his bachelors in Washington DC, and is big into outdoor sports such as swimming in lakes or beaches and everything to do with mountains Giulia: currently doing her bachelor in Cinema and English Literature at UZH, she comes from Ticino and enjoys watching movies, find some treasures in brokis and go for a night out to dance and meet new people. She also occasionally hosts Ryan Gosling’s movie nights (or other kinds of movie nights so if you’re interested hit me up). Karlo: OG briscola master (unbeatable), always down for a chat during dinner, ha has brewed the special flat recipe for fried chicken. legends say he singel handedly financially maintains the migros chicken department where he gets the proteins that he needs to study math. Two new roommates will be chosen by WOKO and join us in September:) In order to have a more gender-balanced environment we are looking for a woman (or anyone who identifies as such).
