We are looking for a new flatmate to join our lovely home as of December 4, 2026! The ground floor of the house consists of a common area with a big dining room and a living room. Through the kitchen you can enter our beautiful garden where we spent a lot of time in the summer, and also in the cold time around the fire pitch. But the pictures say way more;) The house is located in Kreis 6, with a tram stop (line 20 and 9) and a Denner just a few steps away. If you prefer Coop and Migros, there are 20 min walk away. By bike it takes around 7 min to the main train station (HB), by tram around 22 min. Famous Monte Diggelmann with its nice view over the city and the start of the Züriberg forest are only 20 min by foot. Your flatmates will be: Rodri, Mathieu, Alicia, Constance and Melisa. We’re Swiss, Spanish, and French and all in our 30’s. Rodri is searching for his next career stage in the biology sector, and he loves cooking, Japanese culture (you will always find him preparing Japanese tea), and outdoor activities like biking, hiking, skiing. Mathieu works in a startup building electrical airplanes and likes lindy hop, baking pizza and all sorts of outdoor stuff. He is the one building new shelves and fixing things in the house. Alicia is a biologist, she loves yoga and gives classes once a week and goes regularly dancing. She recently started road biking and really likes it. Mathieu & Alicia are our house’s couple. Melisa works in Pro Juventute, she is really social, loves spending time with her friends but is also always willing to meet new people, started to enjoy biking around and trying new sports (the last one was rowing on the lake). And finally, Constance who just finished her PhD, enjoys the Swiss mountains during the weekends and travels around in her van, for climbing, running, or river kayaking. Your room on the 2nd floor is large (approx. 28m²) and has a lot of beautiful natural light. It's at the top of the house, which means it's very quiet, with a beautiful view of Uetliberg. We enjoy spending time together whether just for spontaneous dinner/chats, brunches, or occasional bike and hiking trips. It’s important to us that you’re open-minded and friendly, ideally planning to stay for more than just a few months. We are looking for someone who is also interested in contributing to the WG life and taking care of the old but charismatic house/garden so that everyone can feel at home. You like to help out in the house and garden :) The rent is 2,440 CHF including Nebenkosten.
