I'm looking for a replacement to take over my room in a freshly renovated 1-room apartment on the first floor, in the heart of Zurich-Oerlikon. You'd take over 50% of the apartment as a sublet of the existing rental contract, which is held by the other tenant, available by arrangement. The apartment is meant to be a stable two-person flatshare. **Your room:** the smaller of the two bedrooms (see photo). It's cozy, with the wardrobe and a workspace in the adjoining dining area, where there's also room for a desk or your personal items. The wardrobe is modular, so if you prefer, part of it can be moved into the room. **Furniture:** I'd love to hand over my room's furniture, the living-room wardrobe, and the furnishings of the shared areas (which are split 50/50 with the other flatmate) to the new tenant. Details can be discussed during the viewing. **The apartment:** * Modern closed kitchen with plenty of storage and state-of-the-art V-ZUG appliances * Bathroom with toilet, bathtub, double sink, vanity unit, mirrored cabinet and natural light * Separate shower with sink, vanity unit, mirrored cabinet and extractor fan * Spacious, bright rooms * Small balcony overlooking the inner courtyard * Beautiful oak parquet flooring in the hallway, living/dining area and both bedrooms * Private cellar storage room with electrical connection, shared laundry room in the basement, covered bike shed in the courtyard **Location:** Marktplatz, shops, restaurants and bars are right nearby. Oerlikon train station, several tram and bus stops, the post office, Hallenstadion Zurich, Theater 11 and various sports and leisure facilities are all a few minutes' walk away. **About the flatshare:** you'd be sharing the apartment with a flatmate who is around 10 and works full-time with regular office hours, working from home 2-1 days a week. His girlfriend periodically stays in the apartment. It's a smoke-free, pet-free home, and we're looking for someone compatible with this lifestyle: respectful, tidy, and easygoing. **Please note:** no elevator, no parking available (covered bike shed in the courtyard).
